In just a week, our next performance, “Dance me to the end of life”, will premiere. It is a different kind of dance experience with Latin American Rhythms, dance and a grandfather’s letters.
In the company of live musician Michael Miño and Camila Sarrazin, one of GLiMT’s artistic directors, you will attend a class in the Latin American dance of the “Cumbia”. And while the guests – the audience – learn to dance together, the dance teacher starts to open up and tell them about her life, and why she’s here with them.
Slowly, the audience are drawn into a tale of travelling, letters, joys, longing and about her grandfather, the Danish mail man, who has deeply affected the person she is today.
The performance premieres on the 9th November 2018 at Kulturzonen in Tårnby, and will play at a range of retirement homes, activity centres and more in the Tårnby municipality.
